The Healthcare Value Attack
Role: Lead Copywriter & Strategist
Deliverable: Agency-wide white paper, thought leadership
In 2021, I helped craft The Healthcare Value Attack, a high-stakes white paper that urgently addressed the rising consumer skepticism toward healthcare organizations.
Drawing from in-depth research with 1,200 consumers, I led the charge to uncover what people really think about hospitals and health systems — and why the narrative was shifting against them. Using these findings, I developed a compelling, action-oriented narrative to help healthcare leaders confront this growing distrust head-on. The white paper emphasizes the need for hospitals to stop reacting and start proactively defending their value in their communities — before the perception becomes irreversible.NRC Health
Role: Lead Writer
Deliverables: Longform article, executive byline, executive summary
NRC Health has been at the forefront of revolutionizing patient care through Human Understanding®, and I played a key role in amplifying that vision.
I crafted a thought-provoking article on nurse leader rounding, wrote a byline for the Chief Experience Officer on shaping the future of healthcare, and summarized the bold moves outlined in their Human Understanding® playbook. Each piece was designed to speak to industry leaders and reinforce NRC Health’s commitment to personalized, patient-first care.

Iowa Scanlan Center for School Mental Health
Role: Lead Writer
Deliverables: Website copy and messaging strategy
The Scanlan Center for School Mental Health needed to bring families into the conversation around student mental health — without the jargon, shame, or overwhelm.
I wrote clear, empathetic, stigma-free copy for Nurturing Healthy Minds, a digital resource hub designed to support parents, caregivers, and communities. The goal? Make tough topics feel approachable while staying rooted in compassion and aligned with the University of Iowa’s brand voice.
