American Association of Critical-Care Nurses
A national awareness and advocacy campaign created with AACN to spotlight the growing strain on the nursing workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic.
For the Hear Us Out campaign, I shaped messaging and content designed to translate urgent workforce data and emotional frontline experiences into clear, impactful public-facing communication.
I wrote website copy, developed educational and engagement content, and supported research efforts exploring how the pandemic was affecting nurses, including rising burnout and increasing numbers considering leaving the profession.
This was a high-stakes, fast-paced project driven by urgency as the healthcare system faced unprecedented stress. The campaign aimed to raise awareness, encourage vaccination, and foster productive workforce conversations around healthcare workforce strain during a critical moment for the industry.
